Would I regret not doing this if tomorrow was my last day?

#This post is part of my 30 days writing challenge.

When you hit your 30s, you start seeing a clear pattern only and only
if you take the time to pause & reflect and the permission to just understand.
People get thrilled for jobs they don’t necessarily want but society deems exceptional.
People get tired from mundane jobs they do want to change but society labels it Irrational.
People get fired and can’t move on because almost everyone measures almost everyone by
how much belly someone’s wallet has.

Meanwhile, your hair is getting shorter and greyer and you are sprinting toward your graveyard while optimizing for things that won’t matter in the other life and optimizing your life based on what the society deems optimal at a given moment.

WHY?

    1. We dive out more than we dive in so what society thinks is a proxy of what is right.

    2. We trusted the so-called giants, influencers and best sellers blindly without filtering, without
questioning.

Solution:

Quit earlier, Quit often.

Ditto for reflection. Ditto for this simple yet profound question:

“Would I regret not doing this if tomorrow was my last day?”

*Take it with a tremendous caution*
