Almost Retired Procrastinator!!!

#This post is part of my 30 days writing challenge.

While procrastinating on dealing with a list of things that I procrastinated on, I went into a deceptively plotted maze of Meandering holes that locked me in.

I thought I needed to caffeinate so I would be pumped to face the issues at hand. Then, I swayed myself toward watching a video about dealing with procrastination which led to burning an entire hour of high energy time.

By the end of which, I realized that I learn best by reading so I looked for a book and indeed purchased Solving the Procrastination Puzzle; and started taking serious notes until I landed on an exercise where I was supposed to list all the things that I procrastinated on.

At that point, I convinced myself, based on an idea from the book which states that it is good sometimes to delay things rather than deal with them hastily and impulsively, to ditch the exercise.

Trying to save the day and at least ship something, I decided to write what I just wrote.

While I obviously didn’t put an end to procrastination yet, I can confidently say that your past procrastinator should not determine your future ideal, but your interpretation of that will determine it.

Don’t be confined by what you think your past & present procrastinators are meant to be.
