Be Careful of the Stories You HEAR

#This post is part of my 30 days writing challenge.

Today, a Careem Captain told me this story:

A guy has murdered another geeza and fled back to a neighboring village where he seeked protection. Both the neighboring village leader and the killer knew that the victim’s family had forgiven the killer provided that he doesn’t come back for 2 years.

The leader said: I can protect you as long as you don’t go to the hills! Quite strange but the leader figured that if he is alone, he will start running stories from the past to the point that he would long to get back and get himself killed.

The moral of the story:

💧LIFE  is a series of stories.

💧The people you hang WITH will dictate the stories you hear.

💧These stories will run in your head.

💧These stories will fuel your thoughts.

💧These thoughts will influence your actions.

💧These actions will Shape who you are.

Choose who you hang out with wisely including your virtual friends & the writer of this post.
